Neil Diamond is one of those rare singers that has staying power. Quite a few years ago Garth Brooks said that a true test of an artist is how long they will last. Neil also has another rare trait that never ceases to amaze me. Because of his magnetism in his concerts he connects with his audience almost like no other. He was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which was long overdue.
