Supernatural The Mentalist Episode Review

Supernatural’s newest episode aired on the CW network tonight with an hour full of psychics as the main attraction. Get our full review on the latest when it comes to the Winchester brothers below. The Supernatural brothers turned over a new leaf in this latest episode. After going their separate ways last week after Sam discovers that Dean had killed Amy, his friend of childhood, this week the boys are back together and working a new job despite there differences. Their reunion comes by accident though, when both travel to the town of Lily Daly, New York, psychic central, to do some investigating into a murder. In the start of the hour things are tense and uncomfortable, although Dean tries to act as if nothing is wrong when they bump into each other at a cafe. Sam however isn’t looking to forget. He just wants to work the case and be done without the small talk. The case of the week included two dead sisters, both former psychics. While one sister possessed true abilities, the other is on a murderous killing spree. After salting and burning the bones, and then finally solving the case, Sam and Dean do get back [...]

Finding the Right Music Notes for Piano

When exploring musical talent there are many aspects that one might consider. For the purposes of clarity on this let us consider for example a guitarist who has a tremendous amount of virtuosity and speed in his or her playing. The untrained audience's initial perception would be that the talent of the player in question lies in the incredible speed at which scales and changes are executed.

What To Consider When We Explore Talent

Customizing a guitar is a great way to add a personal touch to your instrument. Legendary guitar players Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen and Tom Morello all have customized guitars tricked out with thousands of dollars of special touches. Fortunately, giving a guitar a personal touch doesn't have to break the bank. With a little creativity, you too can have a customized guitar that shows off your personality.

How to Customise an Electric Guitar on a Budget

As the Fifties waned and the Sixties, Seventies, and Eighties took us all on a magnificent aural ride, the advent of bands such as Miles Davis, The Beatles, Gentle Giant, Frank Zappa, and other groups too numerous to mention showed the listeners that here, in very normal garages across the country, were musicians as brave as their predecessors. Through the amalgamation of rock, jazz and blues, folk, classical, and experimental structures, they created some of the greatest progressive rock songs of all time.

Watch: Justin Bieber Releases A Behind The Scenes Video From The Set Of His New Music Video

Last month we got our first look at the album artwork for Justin Bieber‘s upcoming new Xmas album Under the Mistletoe. About a week ago, Ryan Adams announced that he would be playing a tiny show at the Masonic Lodge inside the Hollywood Forever Cemetery … and last night, David and I got to attend the show. Without question, last night’s performance was THE best Ryan Adams show I have ever seen … and I’ve been to quite a few shows. Not only was the special venue a treat but we got to enjoy just Ryan, his guitar and piano … and that’s it. It was an AMAZING show.

Every time David and I see Ryan Adams live, we hope that he will play our song Firecracker. You’re not going to believe this but about 5 songs into his set, he performed Firecracker in full … it was a very special moment for David and me. The set was chock full of great new stuff, including the title track off his new album (in stores today) Ashes & Fire, but also some of his biggest hits … from a pared down New York, New York to Two and more. In between songs, Ryan joked about his hair, King Diamond and the 80s TV series Moonlighting … he was in rare, brilliant form. As luck would have it, we are seeing Ryan in concert again this Friday night in San Francisco, CA but I’m telling you right now … I doubt I’ll ever see a better show from him.

And speaking of shows … tonight, David and I are going to the Hollywood Bowl to see Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger LIVE in concert. I am SOOOOO excited! It shall be a blast, you better believe that :) Happy Tuesday!!

Plane Crashes On Florida Turnpike!

Well this is unsettling!
A small place crashed onto the Florida Turnpike just north of Miami Wednesday!
Luckily, there were only two people aboard. They are both currently in the hospital. Also fortunate is the how the plane didn't hit any cars!
Though it's still unclear why the plane crash, reports suggest a mechanical malfunction. Oooh [...]

Zachary Quinto Is Already Prepping His Body For Star Trek 2′

Hey may be popping up in FX’s American Horror Story and again on Oct. 21 in the premiere of Wall Street drama Margin Call (which he produced), but it’s Star Trek 2 that Zachary Quinto is focused on: “I’m starting to shift into that mode of preparation. I have physical training and other ways of [...]

So … today is a very short work day for me because … I have a secret. For pretty much the bulk of today I will be otherwise occupied on a very top secret, hush hush project that I would LOVE to be able to tell you all about … but can’t just yet. As a result, I am unable to give any real deets about what I’ll be doing today … altho, I do have one tiny, itsy bitsy bit of info that I can share with only YOU. BUT, you have to promise not to tell ANYONE … OK?

I can tell you that what I am doing today is SO COOL that it may very well be the coolest thing that I have ever done in my life … well, so far. It may be some time before I’m able to talk about the “cool thing” I’m doing today but I promise, when I’m able to spill I will GUSH ALL OVER. So … please bear with my absence for today. I’ll be back on schedule, back to normal tomorrow … so Have a Great WEDNESDAY and I’ll see you then!

Today in the MJ murder trial, prosecutors showed a picture of Michael Jackson's lifeless body, taken several hours after the pop legend had passed.

The haunting image is of MJ naked and deceased, laid out on a gurney, prepared for an autopsy. It should be noted that the date in this photograph is incorrect and was explained by the autopsy doctor. It should read June 25th, the date of Michael's death.

We're warning you now: these pictures are not for the faint of heart. They are quite sad and distrubing. Please click the jump to view the pictures at your own risk.

DWTS Week 3 Shocking Elimination! Who Was Sent Home?

Tonight’s Dancing With The Stars results show proved to be a shocker, and it probably came down to America thinking this celebrity was safe after a great performance last night and scores from the judges that reflected as such. So as you can surmise, Chaz Bono was not sent home, even after garnering the lowest score of the evening. Nancy Grace was safe as well. So who was sent home? We begin the show with Mary J. Blige performing ‘Real Love’. The first three couples to learn their fate are J.R. & Karina, Ricki & Derek and Chaz & Lacey. Jr & Karina learned they were safe first, then Chaz & Lacey surprised that they were safe as well. As for Ricki & Derek? Yep, of course they’re safe! After Len gave his two cents on how the couples performed the night before (fantastic, blah blah blah), he wanted to see Chynna and Tony give an encore performance. Four couples are up next to see if they’re safe or in jeopardy. Rob & Cheryl were the first to hear they were safe, followed by Carson & Anna, who unfortunately were in jeopardy, Nancy & Tristan were safe and then Hope [...]

It's an excellent way to make money off something that's been sitting around collecting dust or to find something that you've been searching for that is no longer sold in retail stores. Selling vinyl records on eBay is a big business and you can get in on some of the action, too.

Planning a Wedding Without a Wedding Planner

Many young people, who love music, believe they have what it takes to become a successful disc jockey (DJ). Once they start to look further into how to become a DJ, there is more to it than they first thought. Anyone can play music if they have the equipment, but not everyone can charm and attract the crowds.

Expect The Unexpected Shock Value

The music industry is changing. Technology has taken the old ways of sharing and distributing music and given them a good shake, and this means that live performances, gigs and music festivals are more important than ever. It's becoming increasingly difficult to make money from recordings, and that means that bands are relying on touring to help them make a living.

This is getting so out of control. We're not happy that this movement, once peaceful and SOMETHING, has now turned to bloodshed.

Last night, a group of 1,000 protesters in Oakland, CA were gassed and shot at by the local police after they allegedly "started throwing bottles, paints, beer, eggs" at officers. Late into the night, officials deployed tear gas on the crowd and began arresting people for disrupting the peace. But things took a turn for the worst when the police started using either rubber bullets or bean bag rounds to bring the chaos to order. (The police are saying one thing, the protesters another.)

Unfortunately, things ended badly for one young man who was actually shot in the face during the mayhem. Video capturing the gruesome scene has gone viral, but it isn't for the faint of heart. The video contains NSFW language and disturbing images of the man being carried by his comrades in the streets searching for help, blood pouring from his face that was wounded.

Still, its important to see how this movement is progressing even far beyond the reaches of Wall Street and how much more violent it is becoming because it. We're all for change, but mostly, we want people to stay safe.

Please stay safe out there.

Misha B Gives Prince A Chance On X Factor UK

It was "Rock Week" on X Factor UK so we were really wondering what Misha B was going to surprise us with this week.
She still stayed true to herself and performed Prince's Purple Rain for the Live Show even though Rock isn't exactly her "natural style."
It wasn't her best performance, but she still pulled it [...]

This is lovely!

Even though she's been told that she's "quiet" during the competition, Sophie Habibis performed a really nice rendition of Bon Jovi's Livin' On A Prayer on the X Factor UK live show during "Rock Week."

Sophie siad she wanted to "show people who I reall am," and trust us, hon, we think you did just that.

Really pretty, Sophie.

Nicole Scherzinger is said to be devastated from a recent split between herself and Formula 1 champ Lewis Hamilton.

The two had been together for four years, but it looks like busy schedules started to make a dent in their lovebug.

Sources say:

Nicole and Lewis have tried to make it work but realized it's just not happening so have called it a day once and for all.

They've spoken at length about it but agreed there's no point as they never see each other. They spend their whole time on opposite sides of the world.

Increasingly hectic schedules this year have meant limited face-to-face time. They've probably spent more time on the phone or on Skype than they have in person.

Sadly, Nicole's job on X Factor USA appears to have come at the cost of her relationship This, plus Lewis's crazy international jet-set lifestyle, put immeasurable strain on the pair.

Friends of the Pussycat Doll say she thought Lewis was the one. Aww, poor NicNic! It's all right. Just eat a tub of Ben & Jerry's froyo, put on some hot pink work-out gear, and watch A LOT of comedies!

Harmonica Holder A Tool to Help You Make the Perfect Performance

It is very difficult to find any adult who doesn't like music. Everyone has their own taste and enjoys different types of music, but there aren't many people out there who completely dislike music. In fact, most adults enjoy listening to the radio or downloaded music in their free time. They listen in their car on the way to work and in the shower when getting ready for the day. They may even listen to it through an mp3 player when working out or running errands.

Arts and Entertainment:Music from EzineArticles.com

For music lovers who are thinking of venturing into serious song writing and composition, you should be thankful to all these all technological developments in the music equipment industry. Unlike in the past when composing songs was too tasking and too expensive since you had to hire musicians to record the music in a studio, these days you can actually do it all by yourself with just a MIDI keyboard and a reliable computer equipped with the necessary softwares.
