In their first public appearance since news that the matriarch of the Duggar family had suffered a miscarriage last December, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar appeared on the Today Show this morning and spoke of their heartbreak. Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob are doing the obligatory press rounds right now, as their reality TV show, “19 Kids and Counting” returns once again for a new season. The show will premiere tonight at 9:00 PM EST on TLC. It was on the Today Show last November that they first announced that Michelle was pregnant with their 20th child. Sadly, a month later, as Michelle and Jim Bob headed to a routine doctor’s visit to also find out the gender of their child, a heartbeat could not be found and they were told that Michelle had miscarried. TLC cameras were on hand at the doctor’s visit and captured the couple coming to terms with what they had just learned. It’s really very sad to watch.
